Today we had a fantastic game with our French palls. The game was a bit longer and complicated this time, however, it was funny and very absorbing. It was hard to find the right Y/N question to reveal the animal but both sides managed well without any clues. Panda won this time but it was a close shave. And we were pondering about the question whether cows actually have a fur or hair. :) After the game there was some time to ask questions to find what common things we have regarding hobbies or life in our school or country. It was brilliant. Our French palls sang a beautiful song for us, thank you so much! Many thanks to Sophie, my colleague and friend from France!

18/11/2104 - Nairobi (zebra) x Prague (penguin)
Our today's Animal Mystery was a really wonderful experience. Our four graders spoke to the kids from Nairobi. They prepared a zebra and ours was a penguin, which won. Our kids probably chose too difficult animal to guess for someone living so far from the Antarctic. Anyway, we had a really nice chat and learned a lot about living in an African slum. We were sorry to hear about life there, about the difficulties and fights that are going on there. We wish we could help to make it better and are going to get back to this topic during our Global project days soon. I would like to thank Emmily for this wonderful opportunity to speak to such lovely kids from Nairobi and hope to speak to you again soon! xxx

Today we had a wonderful Skype lesson with our French partner school. We played an animal guessing game and it took just about 10 minutes to guess the animals. Ours was an octopus and our French palls won with their shark! They guessed our animal first - congratulations! We had lots of fun speaking with each other. Hope to Skype again soon. Thanks to Sophie, the teacher from France, who has been my friend and inspiration for many years, for this wonderful opportunity!

With the children we already know from our previous meeting during Mystery Skype, we go on with a game of Mystery Animal. In this game, the children guess the animal, which the other classroom chooses. After the guessing, we exchange pictures of our animals and then, we can go on chatting.
